Pořešín is the ruin of a castle located about four kilometers north of Kaplice in the Český Krumlov District of the South Bohemian Region. It is situated southeast of the village of the same name on a rocky promontory above the left bank of the Malše River at an elevation of 525 m. Since 1963, the castle has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Pořešín Castle is included among the stops on the Czech-Austrian trail of castles and chateaus, called the Land Road.
