Velké Březno is a castle in the same-named municipality on the right bank of the Elbe River in the Ústí nad Labem District. Its predecessor was the Vartenberg fortress from the fifteenth century, to which the owners moved from the older castle of Varta. In 1842, Count Karel Chotek commissioned the construction of a villa, which was later expanded and is referred to as the new castle.
