Nosice or Youth Dam is a reservoir on the Váh River located near the town of Púchov, constructed between 1949 and 1957. It is part of the Váh Cascade and serves to regulate the flow of the Váh, generate electricity, provide flood protection, and offer recreational opportunities and fishing. The water used by the power plant is diverted to the Dolné Kočkovce weir.
