The Drátenická Cave is located in the central part of the Protected Landscape Area of Moravian Karst, about 1 km from Křtiny, in the Křtinské Valley, through which the Křtinský Stream flows. From 1921 to 1944, phosphate clay was mined here, which led to the damage of the cave. Traces of reindeer hunters have been found here.
