The Šifrová Cave, also known as the Břidlicový Mine Lašťany, is an artificial underground space (former mine and quarry for noble slate) located northeast of the village of Pohořany, part of the village of Dolany, in the Domašov Highlands in the Nízký Jeseník mountain range in the Olomouc District of the Olomouc Region. The Šifrová Cave is also a hibernaculum for several species of legally protected bats and long-eared bats, with around ten species typically found here. Mining activities began here in the 2nd century.
