The Doksany Monastery and Castle (German: Kloster Doxan; possibly from the Greek δόξα, doxa – glory) formerly known as Doksany – the Virgin Monastery of the Premonstratensian Order, is a women's Premonstratensian monastery (former abbey of the Premonstratensians at the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary) in Doksany in the Litoměřice District, the oldest of this order in the lands of the Czech Crown. It is an extensive complex with the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The monastery is located on the banks of the Ohře River in the area of an ancient important ford across the river in a formerly marshy landscape.
