The Štěnovice Monastery was founded in 1753 by the owner of the Štěnovice estate, Countess Maria Theresa von Pötting, née Michnová from Vacínov, next to the Church of St. Procopius, which was established in 1747 by the construction of a cross-shaped structure into an early Baroque granary. The monastery was briefly home to the Order of the Trinitarians.
